Young Leaders

In 2011, Manhattan School of Music established a Young Leaders group to encourage support of the School and participation in its programs. Young Leaders activities include special performances, events, and an Annual Gala After-Party. An important philanthropic priority for the group is the Young Leaders’ Scholarship Initiative: the underwriting of scholarships and fellowships for deserving MSM young artists so they can pursue an outstanding education. On an annual basis, the School spends approximately $9 million on scholarships. Scholarship gifts go far beyond providing essential financial support for students. These gifts make a significant difference in the life of the institution, enabling Manhattan School of Music to recruit top candidates and recognize artistic excellence regardless of financial need.
