MSM Precollege is Manhattan School of Music’s pre-conservatory training program for talented musicians aged 5 to 18 held on Saturdays during the school year.

ABOUT BENJAMIN BOWMAN
American-Canadian violinist Benjamin Bowman is the Concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera. He is a member of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and until 2017 he was also Concertmaster of the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra.
Nicole Johnson, Cello

ABOUT NICOLE JOHNSON
Cellist Nicole Johnson enjoys a diverse career as chamber musician, soloist, and educator. For 12 years, she was the cellist of the internationally acclaimed Cassatt String Quartet. She is on the cello faculty at the Special Music School.

Jungwon Yoon, violin, is an exceptional pedagogue. Her students regularly go on to win national and international competitions and perform in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, as well as regularly gaining admission to the world’s premier music conservatories on scholarships.

Metropolitan Opera Orchestra

ABOUT JULIA CHOI
Ms. Choi joined the First Violins of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in 2019. Prior to her appointment with the Met, she appeared in performances with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, and as Guest Assistant Concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
