Three recent MSM graduates — Hannah Jeané Jones (MM ’24), Ye In Kwak (MM ’24), and Yeongtaek Yang (MM ’24) — have been accepted into the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program (LYADP) for the 2024-25 season.
We invite you to watch the video below, which features conversations with MSM Dean of Vocal Arts Carleen Graham, along with faculty members Myra Huang (MM ’01), James Morris, and Ashley Putnam.
Founded in 1980, the LYADP is regarded as one of the world’s most prominent training programs for emerging opera talent. Incredibly, since the program’s founding, Manhattan School of Music alumni have accounted for 11% of all Lindemann Program participants.
