Announces Upcoming Visit to Shenzhen

President Gandre will meet with newly admitted students, their families, and members of China’s considerable MSM Alumni Community in Shenzhen on April 16

Manhattan School of Music (MSM) is delighted to announce that MSM President James Gandre will visit Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on April 16 to meet with newly admitted students, their families, and members of the sizeable MSM Alumni Community currently living and working in the region.

President Gandre and MSM College and Precollege Violin faculty Xiao Wang (BM ’13, MM ’15, AD ’16) will host two receptions on 2024 April 16 at Shenzhen Steinway Showroom; from 15:30 to 17:30, a reception will be held for newly admitted students and their families, and from 18:30 to 20:30, a second reception will follow for the MSM Alumni Community.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to visit Shenzhen this spring and look forward to reconnecting with our superbly talented alumni and welcoming our new prospective students and their families,” says President Gandre.
